There has been an increase in instances due to Omicron. In what time frame should you seek a boost?

The uniqueness of Omicron

According to Johnson, who spoke to Live Science, even if an infection with Omicron isn't severe, people who have just had the basic series of vaccinations are still in danger. It appears to offer effective protection against omicron infection and certainly against more severe diseases for patients who have taken the booster dose.
There is now a new recommendation from the CDC for adults to take a booster at least five months after receiving the complete immunization.
